The Annual Power Connections Commercial Real Estate Conference once again demonstrated its prowess in bringing together influential figures in the commercial real estate industry. Highlights included a Fireside Chat with Mary Culler, president Ford Philanthropy, and on behalf of Ford’s Michigan Central Station and moderated by Andrew Stein, president and CEO of Children’s Foundation; a Fireside Chat with Dick DeVos, Co-Chair of Grand Action 2.0, moderated by Bobby Schostak, CEO of Templar Baker Group; and a Special Fireside Chat with Hon. Mike Duggan, Mayor of the City of Detroit.
This year’s conference was a resounding success, featuring a curated lineup of seasoned professionals who shared invaluable insights through expert keynotes, engaging fireside chats, and trend-focused panels.
A highlight of the conference was the region’s largest 1:1 speed networking session, offering participants ample opportunities to forge meaningful connections. The structured networking experience and conference was further enriched by a delightful cocktail reception, creating an ideal atmosphere for attendees to interact and collaborate.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, as Power Connections welcomed more than 400 attendees. Industry leaders came together to network, learn from our experts, share ideas, and collectively envision the future of the state’s commercial real estate industry.
GIVING BACK
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we were able to donate $10,000 to Children’s Foundation. The Foundation advocates for the health of children in Michigan through research, education, programs, and other initiatives, making a significant impact on the well-being of young Michiganders.

“For me it's always been the subject matter experts that are a part of the conference, the ability for Power Connections to attract the level of subject matter experts to share their experiences and guidance with the group is truly an outstanding benefit.
